Easter Mani!

To begin with Sally's has buy two get one free on all nail polish this month!  I wandered in there to use my $5 coupon for joining the beauty club last month and was ecstatic when I walked out with three polishes for only $5!!  Am going back as soon as I can convince the husband that it's a necessity.

Now on to the Easter Mani!

I used China Glaze - Light As Air and Lemon Fizz for the base, and For Audrey for the flowers.  I put top coat on the pointer finger and decided I needed to let the polish dry first or it would destroy the integrity of the flowers, so none of my other fingers have TC on.

Light As Air. This is true to the picture.  This polish dries darker than the bottle. Still a beautiful pale purple.

Lemon Fizz. This color actually matches almost identically to the bottle.  So pale.  So beautiful.  Definitely a new favorite of mine.

For Audrey. I have nothing bad to say about this.  Definitely a new unique blue to add to my collection.  I did my nails with my brother's girlfriend and she used this.  Needless to say it is breathtaking alone. :)

Here it is with a top coat after the polish had dried.

I'm sure by now that everyone has heard the rave reviews of these pastels, and they are all true!  All of these polishes were opaque in two coats - a feat for pastels.  And they all went on wonderfully smooth and matched almost perfectly to the bottle color.  I am particularly in love with Lemon Fizz and plan to use it as often as I can, whenever I can.

Actually, I am in love with the whole mani!  Tomorrow is my first day on a job and I am fighting the urge to wear this loudly and proudly.  ..Are big, hand-made flowers immature or awesome?  I lean towards awesome, but I want to come off as professional.  *sigh*
